Stockton PD has announced dozens of arrests, along with the seizure of firearms and narcotics, as part of Operation Hybrid Havoc.

Operation Hybrid Havoc is an ongoing, multi-agency effort to curb gang activity in Stockton, beginning in 2019 as a response to a rise in gun violence in the city. In January of this year, authorities specifically began investigating alleged activities by several gangs, including the Sutter Street Crips, Nortenos, and West Side Bloods, police said.

This most recent investigation has reportedly resulted in 24 search warrants and ninety arrests, as well as the seizure of fifty-eight firearms and ten assault weapons, police said in a press release.

Per the press release, also confiscated were 394 grams of cocaine, 959 grams of ecstasy, 98 grams of meth, 73 grams of heroin, 54 grams of fentanyl, and just over five pounds of marijuana, along with around $23,000 in cash.

Of particular note were the arrests of 18-year-old Damien Cook and a 15-year-old juvenile accused of being involved in a gang-related shooting on the 1800 block of Platte Road in January.

Also arrested were 35-year-old Antonio Thomasson for an alleged homicide on the 8000 block of North El Dorado Street on February 11, 2022; 30-year-old Antonio Hoskins and 38-year-old Roverta Howard for an alleged homicide on West Lane on May 15; and Gregory Miller (30), Paul Harris (25), Nolan Hurd (22), and CL Butler (30) for alleged conspiracy to commit a burglary of a marijuana dispensary and firearms possession, police said.

26-year-old Elexis Freeman and two 17-year-old juveniles were also arrested in connection to an alleged robbery, and 25-year-old Rudy Maldonado was arrested for alleged evading, firearms possession, and possession of a controlled substance for sale.
