Parole search becomes drug arrest for pair

MARINA – The Marina Police Department conducted a parole search on November 9th at a residence in the 100 block of Reservation Road.

The search yielded a cache of drugs. In particular, law enforcement discovered ten ounces of meth, one ounce of heroin, and seven ounces of marijuana.

They also found bags, scales, and cell phones, all indicating drug sales.

37-year-old Amulfo Picazo was arrested for possession of meth, heroin and marijuana for sales. He had a no-bail felony warrant. Therefore, he was booked without bail.

28-year-old Joanna Iniguez was also arrested for misdemeanor possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia. In addition, she provided a false name to officers and thus was also charged with obstructing a peace officer.

Iniguez also had a no-bail arrest warrant and was also booked without bail.
