Stockton Man Arrested after Allegedly Trying to Flee Law Enforcement in Pink Maserati
STOCKTON, CA — “On April 23, 2026, graveyard patrol deputies attempted a traffic stop on a PINK Maserati that quickly turned into a short pursuit through Stockton.
Thanks to sharp coordination and teamwork, deputies later located the vehicle again near Rosemarie Lane.
The driver attempted to flee through an apartment complex and intentionally struck a patrol vehicle while trying to escape. The driver was taken into custody, and an AK-style rifle was located inside the vehicle.
Great work by our San Joaquin County Sheriff’s patrol deputies whose teamwork, persistence, and professionalism brought the incident to a safe conclusion.
Rudy Oscar Escobar, 39, was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on charges including fleeing a peace officer, resisting arrest, possession of an illegal firearm, and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and ammunition.”
