Three Perps, Three Separate Crimes in One Morning Spree

STOCKTON – Three perps had a busy morning on August 29 before ending it in jail.

In the first place, at 5:10 a.m. on the 1700 block of South Hunter Street, the three stole a car. A man approached the victim and asked him for a cigarette. The suspect then punched the victim and two others showed up and stole the victim’s car.

Next, at 6:45 a.m. a robbery occurred on MLK Boulevard near Stanislaus Street.

In this incident, a man sat in his vehicle.  Then the three suspects drove up on the vehicle. One of the three suspects got it, showing a handgun in his waistband. He demanded the victim’s property and fled afterward.

Finally, at 8:30 a.m. on the 400 block of East Main Street an attempted robbery occurred.

In this last incident, the three suspects approached a male walking along. They trio demanded the victim’s money. but instead he ran into a building. Although the suspects chased him, they did not rob him.

Soon the SPD arrested 18-year-old Manuel Fernandez, 18-year-old Gabriel Rivera and 22-year-old Marcos Villegas.
