“Early this morning Officers from the Corning Police Department, Deputies from the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office, Investigators from the Tehama County District Attorney’s Office and Tehama County Probation served a search warrant at 22351 Samson Avenue, Corning CA. Officers had been conducting an investigation regarding residents at the property involved in the sales of drugs including Methamphetamine, Heroin and Fentanyl. Officers with the Corning Police Department have received numerous complaints from nearby residents about drug activity at the location. Over the course of the past year Officers have made more than a dozen suspect contacts/arrests regarding persons coming from or going to the property with drugs or guns. During the service of the search warrant twenty persons were contacted or detained and six were arrested for outstanding warrants, narcotics or firearms violations. A firearm was also located on the property. In addition, the County Code Enforcement red tagged the property and an Eviction Order was issued.
