Fresno gang member accused of human trafficking, unlawful possession of firearm

Fresno Police have announced the arrest of a known gang member on suspicion of human trafficking.

24-year-old Isaiah Jordan Sims, whom police say is currently on parole, stands accused of trafficking an 18-year-old victim. Investigators had met with the victim on Tuesday, February 8, after which they quickly identified Sims as the suspect.

Sims was located and arrested on 1000 block of East Dakota Avenue. At the time of the arrest, he was reportedly in possession of a 9mm handgun.

He was ultimately booked at the Fresno County Jail on charges of pimping, and being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm.
