“Stockton Police General Crimes Detectives have been working on a series of business burglaries that have taken place mainly in the Downtown Stockton corridor since April 2022. During the investigation, detectives identified Ruben Manuel Martinez, 33, as the burglar. Detectives took him into custody on July 1, 2022, and arrested him for the following burglary cases:
April 22, 2022 – 800 block of N. California Street
June 22, 2022 – 100 block of N. California Street
June 22, 2022 – 00 block of N. California Street
June 22, 2022 – 00 block of N. American Street
June 22, 2022 – 500 block of E. Main Street
June 22, 2022 – 500 block of E. Main Street
June 22, 2022 – 00 block of N. California Street
July 1, 2022 – 1200 block Buena Vista Avenue
July 1, 2022 – 700 block of N. El Dorado Street
Martinez also had a warrant for his arrest for felony burglary and vehicle tampering.
