MADERA, CA — A suspected drunk driver was arrested after crashing into a restaurant this past weekend, according to police.

In a press release on Sunday, Sept. 6, the Madera Police Department reported that officers had responded to the Jack in the Box on the 900 block of N. Gateway Dr. for a report of a motorist who had crashed into the side of the building.

The driver allegedly fled on foot, but witnesses directed officers to his whereabouts.
