Downtown Patrol Unit Detains Suspect for Disturbance and False Identification

Let’s kick off Monday with a little reminder: with all the technology available today, do you really think giving us your brother’s information will work?
Last night, the Downtown Patrol Unit stopped a man for disturbing the peace, harassing people, and being under the influence. When officers asked for his identification, he decided to provide… his brother’s information.
Nice try. Unfortunately for him, officers quickly figured out his true identity. And as it turns out, he had outstanding warrants.
So, not only did the plan fail, but providing someone else’s information added more charges to his night.
