Search Warrant Execution Leads to Methamphetamine Arrest in Live Oak

LIVE OAK, CA — “On August 10, 2026, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), with assistance from Sutter County Sheriff’s Office personnel, executed a search warrant at a residence in the 9700 block of Deree Avenue in Live Oak.

During the search, agents located approximately 258.89 grams of methamphetamine, paraphernalia, body armor, and chemicals commonly associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine.

55- year-old Jeffrey Bloss of Live Oak was arrested and booked into the Sutter County Jail on the following charges:

• 11395(b)(1) HS – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale
• 11378 HS – Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sale
• 11377(a) HS – Possession of a Controlled Substance
• 11364(a) HS – Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• 31360(b)(1) PC – Felon in Possession of Body Armor
• 11379.6 HS – Manufacturing Methamphetamine
