Sutter County Authorities Identify and Arrest Two Suspects Armed Robbery Near Live Oak Skate Park
LIVE OAK, CA — Two suspects have been arrested following an investigation into an armed robbery near the Live Oak Skate Park on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026.
Deputies from the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office initially responded to reports from a victim who stated that two men threatened him with a firearm and stole his belongings before fleeing the area. Following an investigation, law enforcement officers located and detained both individuals involved.
Officials identified the suspects as 22-year-old Hugo Diaz Chavez, and 25-year-old Francisco Ramos, both residents of Live Oak. Both men were booked into the Sutter County Jail.
Diaz Chavez faces charges including assault with a firearm on a person, robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, probation violations, and multiple narcotics-related offenses. Ramos was booked on charges of robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.
