Suspect Arrested for Allegedly Brandishing Gun at Park in Millbrae
MILLBRAE, CA — “A suspect who brandished a stolen firearm during a fight at a Millbrae park was arrested Tuesday by deputies with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
On June 30, 2026, deputies were dispatched to Green Hills Park in the City of Millbrae in response to reports of a fight.
When deputies arrived, they observed a large group of people leaving the area.
During the investigation, deputies learned a suspect brandished and pointed a loaded firearm at multiple people during the fight.
After reviewing witness statements and video evidence, the suspect was identified as 18-year-old Aemilia A. Harper of San Bruno.
Harper was located nearby and taken into custody without incident.
Deputies also recovered the loaded firearm, which had been reported stolen out of San Francisco.
Harper was arrested and booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility for the following charges: 245(A)(2) PC – Assault with a firearm, 25400(C)(6) PC – Carry Concealed Loaded Weapon, 422(A) PC – Criminal Threats, 25850(A) PC – Carrying A Loaded Stolen Firearm, 417(A)(2)(A) – Exhibiting a Concealable Firearm in Public and 22810(E)(1) PC – Possess, Purchase or Use Tear Gas/Tear Gas Weapon”
