“Career Criminal”: Man Wanted on Robbery, Domestic Violence Warrant Arrested for 36th Time

FRESNO, CA — “On Tuesday, February 17th, detectives with the Adult Compliance Team (ACT), arrested 46 year old Michael Delsid of Fresno. He has been booked into the Fresno County Jail on charges of evading police, reckless driving and probation violations. Delsid also had an outstanding arrest warrant related to charges of robbery, domestic violence, violating a protection order and dissuading a victim from testifying. He is currently not eligible for bail.

Tuesday afternoon, ACT detectives attempted to make a traffic stop on a pickup truck driven by Michael Delsid. He refused to pull over and a pursuit ensued. Once at the intersection of Clinton and Marks in Fresno, a deputy conducted a Pursuit Intervention Technique (PIT), which caused Delsid’s vehicle to spinout, strike a curb and come to a stop. The deputy, along with officers from various other local agencies assigned to ACT, safely took Delsid into custody. There were no injuries or damage to property.

Delsid is a career criminal who has served multiple sentences in prison. His record dates back to 1994 and includes drug crimes, property crimes and violent crimes. He most recently served six months in the Fresno County Jail in 2025 for probation violations and a violation of a protective order.
