Suspect Arrested in Desert Hot Springs Grand Theft, Vandalism Cases
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — Officers with the Desert Hot Springs Police Department (DHS PD) arrested an adult male suspect on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in connection with a series of vandalism and grand theft cases targeting local convenience stores.
The investigation focused on multiple incidents, including one where approximately 80 frozen pizzas were reported stolen. Detectives and officers located the suspect during a traffic stop. During the arrest, law enforcement recovered tools believed to have been used in the commission of the crimes, along with narcotics.
The adult male suspect was booked into county jail on several felony charges. Additionally, a female passenger was found to be in possession of illegal narcotics and was also booked. The DHSPD noted the swift resolution of the case and its commitment to addressing theft and vandalism in the community.
