SAN MATEO COUNTY, Calif. — Bay Area authorities have reportedly arrested two juveniles accused of exchanging gunfire in public late last year.
On the morning of December 27 of last year, police responded to reports of gunfire near the 600 block of Bell Street, according to the East Palo Alto Police Department.
Investigators determined that two individuals had exchanged multiple gunshots, with one reportedly firing from a moving vehicle. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Through the use of Flock cameras, authorities were able to identify and locate the vehicle involved. Investigators later carried out several search warrants, and the vehicle was recovered in Modesto.
The suspects, both identified as 17-year-old juveniles, were identified as the suspects. They were arrested on January 9, police said.
