“On Monday, November 23th, 2020, at approximately 10:33 PM, Redwood City Police Officers responded to the 100 block of Locust Avenue on a report of a domestic disturbance.

Upon arrival, Officers learned the suspect, identified as Eduardo Chipresrosales, went to his ex-girlfriend’s residence uninvited and kicked her front door open. The suspect entered the residence and pushed the victim, causing her to fall backwards nearly landing on top of her two-year old child.

The suspect proceeded to take the victim’s car keys, and flee in her vehicle. Neither the victim or her child suffered serious injuries.

Palo Alto PD Officers located the victim’s vehicle unoccupied and began conducting surveillance on it until relieved by Redwood City Officers and Detectives.

While conducting surveillance, Redwood City Officers observed the suspect enter the vehicle and begin to drive away.

Officers conducted a felony car stop on the vehicle in East Palo Alto. The suspect exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, but was apprehended and taken into custody without incident.

Chipresrosales was booked into the San Mateo County Jail for burglary, vehicle theft, domestic violence, and child endangerment.
