Two Arrested, Large Amounts of Narcotics Seized after Police Search of Monterey Hotel Room

“On Thursday, March 16, 2023, at approximately 6:48 p.m., Monterey Police Department Detectives and Officers conducted a search on a hotel room in the 2000 block of North Fremont.
Detectives located 1.21 grams of cocaine, 21.16 grams of heroin, 27.07 grams of methamphetamine, 32.78 grams of fentanyl, and 61.43 grams of unidentified pills believed to contain fentanyl.
Aaron Ohare, 32, of Monterey CA was arrested for violations of Health and Safety Code (HS) 11351 – Possession of a controlled substance for sale, 11352 HS – Transportation of a controlled substance, 11378 HS – Possession of a controlled substance for sale, 11379(a) HS – Furnishing a controlled substance, 11375(b)(1) HS – Possession of a controlled substance for sale, California Penal Code (PC) 182(a)(1)PC – Conspiracy, 148(a)(1) PC – Resisting arrest, 530.5(a) PC – Identity theft, and 3455PC – Violation of Post Release Community Supervision.
Ohare was transported to and booked in the Monterey County Jail. He was not eligible for bail.
Ellie Forzani, 28, of Spreckles CA was arrested for violations of Health and Safety Code (HS) 11351 – Possession of a controlled substance for sale, 11352 HS – Transportation of a controlled substance, 11378 HS – Possession of a controlled substance for sale, 11379(a) HS – Furnishing a controlled substance, 11375(b)(1) HS – Possession of a controlled substance for sale, California Penal Code (PC) 182(a)(1)PC – Conspiracy, 530.5(a) PC – Identity theft, and 496(a) PC – Possession of stolen property.
Forzani was transported to and booked in the Monterey County Jail. Her bail was set at $60,000.”
