Nevada PD Arrests Man for Drugs and Weapons

“On October 9, 2022, an NCPD Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Clay Street. The driver was identified as 36-year-old Patrick Carter. While conducting the stop, the officer observed a can of pepper spray inside the vehicle. As a convicted felon, Carter is prohibited from possessing pepper spray.

Carter was subsequently placed under arrest, a search of his person was conducted, and a search of the vehicle was conducted. During the investigation, the officer located a .22 caliber handgun, ammunition, suspected methamphetamine, suspected MDMA (Ecstasy), drug paraphernalia, credit cards, and identification documents belonging to other individuals. Carter was booked into the Nevada County Jail on several charges.”
