“Police Activity: Earlier today NCPD contacted two suspicious individuals on the 100 block of Union Alley. This contact led to both a probation and probable cause search that included their associated vehicles. Drugs and paraphernalia were located along with potentially stolen mail, fraudulent and forged documents.
29 year-old Jordan Schroeder of Lake Tahoe was arrested and booked into the Nevada County Jail charged with I.D. theft, forgery, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
25 year-old Shelby Essex of Reno was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and released.
Both vehicles were towed.
The investigation is ongoing as we attempt to link the recovered mail and documents to the victims.”
