Joshua Moss-Sanders: Covered with Tattoos and Wanted for Armed Robberies

FREMONT — Joshua Moss-Sanders, a 19-year-old parolee, is wanted in connection with multiple armed-robberies in two cities. He has fled from police seeking to apprehend him. Once while fleeing, he allegedly threw a firearm out a car window.

Moss-Sanders has three outstanding felony warrants for his arrest. He has two separate warrants for armed robberies in Fremont and San Leandro, which occurred in August and October 2021. His third warrant is for parole violation.

Moss-Sanders was implicated during an investigation conducted by the Fremont Police Department and Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. The California Department of Corrections also assisted in the investigation.

Authorities say Moss-Sanders knows that he is being sought for arrest. Moreover, he is believed to be using aliases and fake identification to avoid arrest.

Moss-Sanders stands approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs about 165 pounds. He displays several distinctive tattoos, including his facial tattoos.

Moss-Sanders should be easy to spot in public – Extending vertically from his left jawline, he has a tattoo that spells out “Jackboy.”

Over his right eye, Moss-Sanders has a tattoo with the name “Ashley.” Over his left eye and over his right jawline, he has tattoos with the name “Edina Mae.”

On his right forearm, Moss-Sanders has a tattoo depicting a person wearing a ski mask and the words “The Jack.”

Anyone with information about Moss-Sanders’ whereabouts can call Fremont detective Michael Gebhardt at 510-673-3664. Alternatively, call the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office, Sgt. Fenton Culley at 510-942-9820.
