“Saturday, American Canyon Police Officers were dispatched to Wal-Mart after receiving calls regarding a man breaking the glass jewelry counter and taking several necklaces. The suspect exited the store and drove away, but he was located by American Canyon Police on Highway 29 near Mini Drive, in Vallejo.

Jair Williams, a 29-year-old Vallejo resident, was identified as the suspect. Nearly $9,000 of stolen merchandise was recovered from the vehicle driven by Mr. Williams.

He was arrested and booked into the Napa County Jail on felony theft, burglary, and vandalism. Bail was set at $100,000, but Mr. Williams bailed out on the charges the same day (Saturday).

Reminder, suspects may be armed with weapons, so please refrain from trying to physically apprehend theft suspects prior to law enforcement arrival. Thank you”
