Merced Police Gang Unit arrests suspect for sales of Fentanyl

“Merced – Merced resident arrested by the Merced PD Gang Unit for sales of Fentanyl. On July 24th at approximately 8:30 AM, the Merced PD Gang Unit served a search warrant in the 200 block of East 23rd Street. Gang Unit Officer Valadez received information that the resident at this location was selling narcotics.

After serving a search warrant officers located approximately 29 grams of Fentanyl along with packaging material and scales. The resident, 27-year old Forrest Thomas was arrested for sales of narcotics.

Merced Police are asking anyone with any information regarding this crime to contact Officer Valadez at 209-388-7829 or by email at ValadezR@CityofMerced.org.”
