Patrolling deputy spots man trying to steal from Lowe’s

“While conducting extra patrols in the Amador Ridge Shopping Center, an observant Deputy noticed a male subject sprinting from the garden department of Lowes with a cart full of merchandise.
The Deputy observed the suspect approach an awaiting pickup and noticed he was hastily loading items into the truck. Shortly after the Deputy made contact with the suspect, he fled the scene on foot towards Safeway.
Additional Law enforcement agencies from throughout the County responded to assist, however, the suspect is still at large. The Deputy was able to recover approximately $2,385.00, worth of merchandise which was returned to Lowes.
The two suspects who remained on scene were identified as Donald Edwin Morris 3/13/1984, and Kyle Doran Hall 5/14/1985 of Lodi. Deputies were advised the three suspects met at Harrah’s Northern California Casino prior to making their way to Lowes.
Both Hall and Morris were issued citations for numerous charges to include: conspiracy to commit a felony, false impersonation, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, destruction of evidence and possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine/heroin).”
