Authorities have arrested a man accused of recklessly firing a gun after being kicked out of an Amador County bar.

On the night of September 3, a man later identified as 18-year-old Jesse James Rice was reportedly thrown out of the Buena Vista Saloon and allegedly fired several gunshots into the air as he was driving away.

Responding deputies found him parked across the street from Harrah’s Casino, at which point he reportedly admitted to having fired the shots. Deputies found a revolver in the vehicle with him, according to reports.

Rice was arrested and booked on suspicion of negligent discharge of a firearm and other charges.
