“Today an observant Deputy conducted an enforcement stop on a vehicle for minor traffic violations in the Martell area.

The driver who was identified as Darren Andrew Randall of Sutter Creek was on Post Release Community Supervision (PRCS) after he was released from state prison.

A search of Randall’s vehicle revealed a loaded firearm and ammunition.

Randall was ultimately booked into the Amador County Jail for being a felon in possession of a loaded firearm, felon in possession of ammunition and for violation of his PRCS terms.”
