“On January 21, 2022, at approximately 11:16 pm, a deputy was patrolling the area of Pioneer Creek Road in Pioneer, when he observed a Chevrolet Silverado driving with registration expired over two years.

The deputy subsequently conducted a traffic stop on Pioneer Creek Road and Schaefer Ranch Road.

During the investigation, the deputy conducted a search of the truck and located a loaded Sig Sauer handgun, which was later determined to be stolen. Additionally, suspected methamphetamine and hypodermic needles were found in the truck.

The driver, 49 year old John Westfall III of West Point, was arrested and booked for various firearm and drug related violations.”
