“On March 14, 2021 around 1:00 A.M. an Ione Police Officer conducted a traffic stop on an older model Nissan sedan for a registration violation on Preston Avenue in the City of Ione.

The driver was identified as Emmalee Ghiorso (34) of Sutter Creek and the passenger was identified as Christopher Bodle (33) of Ione and both were determined to be on probation.

During the contact, the officer discovered that the license plates on the vehicle belonged to a different vehicle.

The license plates that were displayed on the Nissan were expired since August of 2020 and the vehicle itself was expired since 2015.

The vehicle was towed and a probation search was conducted. The driver was ultimately issued a citation for an outstanding warrant, possessing methamphetamine, and for displaying improper license plates.

The passenger was issued a citation for possessing drug paraphernalia.”
