“On November 21, 2020 at approximately 9:16 am, the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Lovey’s Landing in Meridian regarding an infant inside a running vehicle alone.

Deputies responded and located an infant child alone inside a vehicle, while the vehicle was still running and the heater was running. The child was sweating and crying, but appeared to be unharmed.

Deputies located the mother of the child, who was identified as 34 year old Amanda Nicole Lookingbill. Also located, was 29 year old Nicolaus Wentworth Voter. Lookingbill and Voter were sleeping inside a trailer near where the infant was located.

Lookingbill and Voter were both arrested on charges of child endangerment. Voter is on parole and was booked into the Sutter County Jail with a $50,000 bail and a court date of 11/24/2020.

Due to medical issues, Lookingbill was cited and released with a future court date. Child Protective Services was called out and took possession of the infant.”
