Four females arrested for mail theft, stolen checks, identity theft

“On August 18, 2021 at approximately 6:48 pm, the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office received a call regarding mail theft in the 1600 block of Barry Road.

Sutter County Sheriff’s deputies arrived on scene and viewed video surveillance footage from the reporting party/victim.

Upon viewing the video surveillance footage, deputies recognized the suspect vehicle from prior incidents. The SCSO deputies recalled Julie Keovilayphone was associated with the vehicle recognized.

SCSO deputies responded to Keovilayphone’s residence and located the vehicle that was observed in the video surveillance footage. SCSO deputies contacted Keovilayphone who claimed ownership of the vehicle of interests.

Keovilayphone gave consent to search the vehicle which lead to the location of a check for $35,654.00 which was later determined to be stolen. The SCSO deputies contacted SCSO detectives who came out to assist with the investigation.

A search warrant was written for Keovilayphone’s residence which lead to the location of more stolen checks, stolen mail, evidence of identity theft, and other stolen property.

The investigation is still on going, but the evidence located in the original call for service and the warrant served lead to the arrest of the following: Julie Keovilayphone, 32 years of age from Yuba City, Sirena Valenzuela, 33 years of age from Yuba City , Vicki Keovilayphone, 39 years of age from Yuba City and Delilah McCall, 45 years of age from Yuba City.”
