Sutter County SIU Arrests Two and Seizes Over 100 Grams of Methamphetamine in Gridley
SUTTER, CA – A multi-agency narcotics investigation led to the arrest of two Gridley residents and the seizure of over 100 grams of methamphetamine following a search warrant service last week, law enforcement officials announced. On September 16, 2026, agents with the Sutter County Special Investigations Unit (SIU)—assisted by the Sutter County Sheriff’s Office and the Gridley Police Department—executed a search warrant at a home in Gridley as part of an ongoing investigation into narcotics trafficking within Sutter County.
During the search, investigators located approximately 100.94 grams of methamphetamine, digital scales, packaging materials, and various items of drug paraphernalia. Deputies arrested two individuals at the residence: Teri Johnson, 68, of Gridley: Charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Christopher Wilson, 64, of Gridley: Charged with possession of a controlled substance for sale, possession of a controlled substance, and destruction or concealment of evidence. Officials noted that the Special Investigations Unit remains actively focused on targeting narcotics trafficking and interrupting the illegal drug trade across Sutter County and Yuba City.
