A Sutter County man was recently arrested after a suspicious vehicle call reportedly led to the discovery of narcotics and an illegally possessed weapon, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy responded on July 25th to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the area of O’Banion Road in Yuba City, making contact with a man identified as 23-year-old Feliciano Morales-Mondragon of Sacramento. The deputy reportedly spotted what appeared to be a meth pipe in plain sight, the Sheriff’s Office said.

After confirming that Morales-Mondragon was on probation, the deputy searched the vehicle and located a gun and suspected narcotics.

Morales-Mondragan was arrested and booked on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and other charges.
