“On Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at 5:30 PM, Corcoran Police Officers were dispatched to 2400 Whitley Avenue regarding an armed robbery that occurred in the apartment complex parking lot. The victim reported he was parked in the apartment complex parking lot waiting to meet a guy by the name of Jessy. When Jessy walked up to the victim, Jessy pointed a gun at him and demanded his money. The victim handed Jessy his money and Jessy walked away. Through further investigation, Corcoran Officers were able to identify the suspect as Jessy Cervantes. The investigation also revealed Cervantes was currently out on bail from a previous attempted robbery and assault with a deadly weapon case.
