GOSHEN – The morning of November 5th, 44- year old Antonio Marquez decided to take a joy ride in a construction lift which did not belong to him.
Concerned citizens called officers when they saw Marquez paying extra attention to the lift located in a dirt lot in the area of Robinson Road and Ave 312 in Goshen.

Tulare County Deputies arrived just in time to catch Marquez about to merge onto Robinson Road. They were able to detain him and confirm he was not the owner of the lift nor did he have permission to drive it.
The $56,000 machine was returned to its owner and Marquez was chauffeured to the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trail Facility where he was booked on charges of Grand Theft. The incident continues to be under investigation.
