STOCKTON – The SPD recently made an “historic” illegal fireworks seizure in the 2400 block of Country Club Boulevard.

Officers served a search warrant after an “ongoing investigation into sales of illegal fireworks in the county.”

The SCSO, SPD, Manteca PD and Manteca FD all worked together in this operation, with the DA’s

office.

In addition, interested citizens can call Stockton Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600 and remain anonymous.

The SPD says, “If you have any information that may lead to an arrest, call Crime Stoppers at (209) 946-0600. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards up to $10,000.”

Furthermore, the SPD’s Facebook page, unsurprisingly, contains all sorts of responses to this case. It goes from “my dogs will be happy” to “go catch robbers, carjackers and murderers.”

Finally, please note that not all law-breaking is equal, and that law enforcement is just that – enforcement of  laws.
