Domestic Violence Arrest in Hanford

Mario Daniel McCullum

HANFORD – 28-year-old Mario Daniel McCullum was arrested on Friday for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.

The arrest stemmed from an incident in which McCullum allegedly got into an argument with a female passenger in the car he was driving.

Around 7 PM at the corner of  Fitzgerald Lane and Semillion Street the female victim got out of the car and McCullum reportedly got out and tried to follow her.

He knocked her down, got into his vehicle and proceeded to “ram” the victim.

Someone then saw the suspect standing over the female, hitting her, but he drove away when another bystander came to her aid.

Later, in the 2000 block of Castle Drive, an officer spotted McCullum, who was arrested, booked for assault, and released.
