“Merced – Merced Police officers arrested Terrel Walker (25) for felony animal cruelty, burglary, and vandalism.
Officer Laguna investigated a residential burglary and found a pet rabbit that had been killed.
The victim suspected her ex-boyfriend of the crime.
The rabbit was transported to a local veterinarian and it was confirmed the rabbit died from a traumatic injury to the neck.
Walker was located and arrested for felony animal cruelty, burglary, and vandalism.
He was booked into custody at the Merced County Jail.”
