Graveyard shift busy arresting people for drug sales

“The first arrest of the night was shortly after 2 am when an officer made a proactive stop for a vehicle code violation on Tide Court. The officer contacted the driver, 67 year old, Woodland resident Robin Starr, who had a warrant for his arrest.

Starr’s passenger, 34 year old, Arbuckle resident Anna Rosas Cazares had multiple warrants for her arrest. A search of the vehicle ended with the discovery of the drugs pictured below (1st photo) including, heroin, methamphetamine and Xanax.

A loaded .32 caliber revolver, scales and packaging material for drug sales were also found. Starr and Rosas Cazares were both arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for multiple charges including possession of controlled substance for sale, conspiracy, carrying a loaded firearm, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a loaded firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and their warrants.

Two hours later, just after 4 am, an officer made contact with a subject sleeping in a vehicle in the Jack in the Box parking lot (2010 E. Main St.). The subject, 49 year old Robbins resident Trent Swisher, yep you guessed it, also had a warrant for his arrest , and yep you probably also guessed it, he had drugs (2nd photo).

A search of Mr. Swisher’s vehicle resulted in finding methamphetamine, a scale and packaging material for drug sales. Swisher was arrested and booked at the Yolo County Jail for possession of a controlled substance for sale and his warrant.
