MODESTO, CA — The Modesto Police Department announced that its Traffic Safety Unit is maintaining a heightened enforcement presence across city streets following a series of fatal collisions over recent weeks.
Police officials stated that officers are conducting operations throughout the morning, daytime, and evening hours. Dedicated units are particularly focused on monitoring school zones during morning drop-off and afternoon dismissal periods, alongside routine patrols along primary roadways throughout Modesto.
