CARLSBAD, CA — Officers with the City of Carlsbad Police Department recently seized approximately 94 grams of methamphetamine during a routine patrol operation.
According to official department statements, a field supervisor, Sergeant Ramirez, initiated a traffic stop after observing a vehicle operating with expired and suspended registration. A subsequent search conducted during the stop led to the discovery of three separate bags containing the illegal narcotics.
The incident highlights ongoing proactive traffic enforcement efforts by law enforcement supervisors within the community. Further details regarding potential charges or the identity of the driver have not yet been released.
