Fresno Man Accused of Fatally Shooting Girlfriend, Arrested on Suspicion of MUrder

FRESNO, CA — “On Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at approximately 11:09 pm, Central Policing District officers responded to 3206 N. Palm Avenue regarding a shooting victim. Officers arrived and located 34-year-old Tiffany Stewart who had been shot. Despite life-saving efforts by officers and EMS personnel, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Homicide Detectives determined this was a domestic violence related incident involving Stewart and her domestic partner identified as 29-year-old Jeffrey Randall.  The investigation revealed an argument occurred between the victim and Randall, in the parking lot of the location, prior to the shooting.  During the disturbance Randall shot the victim as she walked away from him. Randall was later contacted by officers in the immediate area and was arrested. Randall was booked into the Fresno County Jail for PC 187(a) – Murder.
