ALPR Notification Leads to Stolen Vehicle Recovery and Shoplifting Arrest in Red Bluff
TEHAMA, CA – “🚨ALPR Hit Leads to Stolen Vehicle Recovery & Shoplifting Arrest.🚨
On 9/5/26, an Automatic License Plate Reader (ALPR) alerted TCSO Deputies to the presence of a stolen vehicle in Red Bluff.
TCSO Deputies quickly saturated the area, along with RBPD officers. Deputies located the vehicle unoccupied before RBPD (gotta be quicker than that) in the parking lot of Ross.
A perimeter was established and when the occupants of the vehicle returned to it, they were apprehended without incident.
The investigation revealed the driver, Ashley Reynolds (36) of Red Bluff, drove the stolen vehicle to Ross then took merchandise without paying (double whammy). She was placed under arrest for Possession of a Stolen Vehicle and Shoplifting.
This video underscores the value of ALPR’s and how they can assist law enforcement with criminal investigations.”
