Driver Arrested for DUI After Guardrail Collision on State Route 16 Near Woodland
WOODLAND, CA – “Early this morning, officers from the CHP Woodland Area responded to a crash on SR-16 westbound, west of the I-505 northbound on-ramp. A driver collided with a metal guardrail and narrowly avoided going over a dirt embankment. Following an investigation, the driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
Fortunately, no one was injured. If you’ve been drinking or using drugs, don’t get behind the wheel. Plan ahead, designate a sober driver, call a rideshare, or find another safe way home. One bad decision can change lives forever.
A DUI isn’t worth it. The risk isn’t worth it. It’s not worth it.”
