Solano County Deputies Chase Stolen Vehicle, Find Suspect Hiding in Blackberry Bush
SOLANO COUNTY, CA — “Recently, Solano County Sheriff’s Office, Southbeat Patrol Team 4 deputies located an occupied stolen vehicle and attempted to stop it. The vehicle fled from deputies and led them on a short pursuit until the suspects ended up on a dead-end street in the area of Alhambra and Mesa St in Vallejo, and then ‘foot-bailed’ from the vehicle.
The driver ended up in a thorny situation, getting stuck in a blackberry bush, and was arrested. The passenger unfortunately remains at large. Deputies located a loaded rifle during a subsequent search of the vehicle.
The driver/suspect, a convicted felon for robbery and assault with a deadly weapon, was arrested on numerous felony charges for weapons, fleeing, and vehicle theft.”
