Downtown Foot Patrol Leads to Arrest of Parolee with Loaded Firearm
VISALIA, CA— “HAPPENING OVERNIGHT: Visalia Police Arrest Man After Loaded Firearm Found Downtown
Last night, Visalia Police Department patrol officers were conducting foot patrols in the downtown area near Locust Street and Main Street when they contacted a male sitting inside a vehicle with the door open.
Officers contacted the 25-year-old male, identified as Cole Howard, who was wearing a cross-body satchel. During the investigation, Howard was found to be on active parole. A search of his cross-body satchel resulted in the discovery of a loaded firearm.
Howard was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Adult Pre-Trial Detention Facility for a parole violation and weapons-related charges. #visaliapd”
