Napa County Sheriff’s Office Uncovers Additional Burglary Cases Following Recent Arrest
NAPA COUNTY, CA — August 28th 2026 00 “FOLLOW UP ON LAST WEEK’S POST FOR THE ARREST OF DAVID ALEJANDRO GOMEZ SANCHEZ FOR BURGLARY:
Napa County Sheriff’s Office (NSO) received emails from victims after last week’s arrest of David Alejandro Gomez Sanchez. These responses have helped detectives with their ongoing investigation, and they have helped uncover more burglary cases involving Gomez Sanchez.
All the burglaries were in homes that had an unlocked door or unlocked window.
Minimal items in the house were disturbed at the time of the burglaries. The stolen items were mostly expensive handbags, jewelry and jewelry boxes. Detectives have recovered some of the stolen jewelry from pawn shops in the North Bay region.
NSO is asking the public to continue to email detectives as they believe there are more related cases throughout the County of Napa that have not been reported to law enforcement.
Emails can be sent to Detective Solis at: marcus.solis@countyofnapa.org or Detective Winegar at: christian.winegar@countyofnapa.org
