El Centro K-9 Unit Assists Imperial Police in Drug Arrest
EL CENTRO, CA — “On August 2, 2026, the Imperial Police Department conducted a traffic stop and requested the assistance of a narcotics detection K-9.
El Centro Police Department K-9 Vader responded to assist and conducted a free-air sniff, positively alerting to the presence of narcotics inside the vehicle.
A subsequent search led to the discovery of approximately 65.2 grams of suspected methamphetamine, 0.6 grams of suspected fentanyl, and $455 in U.S. currency.
