Imperial County Sheriff’s Office Deputies Arrest Suspect after Vehicle Pursuit

On November 29th Imperial County Sheriff’s Deputies were alerted to a domestic disturbance call off of Main Street in Niland, CA.

When Deputies arrived at the scene the suspect, identified as Conrad White (29), fled the scene in a vehicle. Deputies soon were able to locate White’s location Deputies attempted to get White to pull over. When White refused a vehicle pursuit ensued.

White was located at the Circle K in Calipatria, CA. As Deputies approached the suspect he attempted to flee and get to his vehicle. The Deputies struggled to get White into custody and an altercation between the suspect and the Deputies began. During the struggle a firearm White was concealing discharged. Luckily the only injury sustained was some minor abrasions to one of the Deputies during the struggle with White. No other reported parties were injured during the incident.

White was taken into custody at Imperial County Jail with bail set at $50,000. He was booked on charges of, Violation of a court order, reckless driving, Felony evading in a motor vehicle, Felon in possession of a firearm, attempted escape, and battery of a peace officer.
