Detectives Use Flock Cameras to Track Storage Burglary Suspect; Vallejo Woman Arrested

NAPA, CA — In late June 2026, the Napa County Sheriff’s Office responded to multiple reports of storage unit burglaries at the Storage Star facility on Devlin Road in Napa. Victims reported that thousands of dollars worth of property, including various collectibles, had been stolen from their rented units.

Through the utilization of surveillance footage and automated Flock license plate recognition cameras, detectives successfully identified a suspect vehicle tied to the crimes. Investigators subsequently identified one of the primary suspects as 50-year-old Kimberly Barrios, a resident of Vallejo, and linked her to a specific storage unit located in South Vallejo.

On July 7, 2026, Napa County Sheriff’s Office detectives executed a search warrant at Barrios’s Vallejo storage unit. During the search, investigators successfully recovered a portion of the stolen property originating from the Napa County burglaries.

Detectives located Barrios near the facility and placed her under arrest without incident. She was transported and booked into the Napa County Department of Corrections on charges related to the burglaries and possession of stolen property. Her bail has been set at $25,000.

The investigation remains active as detectives work to inventory the recovered items and identify all remaining victims. Anyone with information regarding these commercial burglaries is asked to contact Detective Christian Winegar at (707) 253-6031 or via email at christian.winegar@countyofnapa.org.
