“Sonoma, Calif. – On January 1, 2024, officers from the California Highway Patrol Napa area were in pursuit of a Suzuki motorcycle for reckless driving, with speeds in excess of 120 miles per hour, before discontinuing the pursuit for the safety of the public.

After thorough investigation from the involved officers and allied agencies, officers were able to identify the involved motorcycle.

On January 13, 2024, officers located the motorcycle and successfully impounded the Suzuki motorcycle, by order of the court.

Did you know that if your vehicle is reasonably believed to be an instrument used in the violation of California Vehicle Code section 2800.2(a), felony evading, or 23103(a), reckless driving, a warrant may be authorized and your vehicle can and will be impounded for 30 days?
