Parolee Arrested for Vandalism Following Gang Graffiti Incident Near Houston and Santa Fe

VISALIA, CA — June 18th 2026 — Visalia Police Department officers recently responded to a vandalism call just after 10 p.m. near the intersection of Houston Avenue and Santa Fe Street. Upon arrival at the location, officers discovered fresh gang graffiti that had been applied to multiple properties in the area.

During the subsequent assessment of the scene, law enforcement personnel located a paint can in close proximity to the vandalized structures. A suspect was also located nearby by the responding officers. Upon physical inspection of the suspect, officers observed that the individual had paint remaining on their hands.

A records check revealed that the detained suspect was actively on parole for a prior robbery conviction. Based on the physical evidence observed at the scene and the individual’s legal status, officers placed the suspect under arrest. The individual was subsequently processed and booked on charges of vandalism as well as a parole violation.
